The first of two new dungeons coming in ESO’s Fallen Banners DLC, Exiled Redoubt revolves around helping Imperial Battlemage Lucilla as she investigates a series of soldier disappearances. By infiltrating Hose Albus’ stronghold, we’ll “discover a plot that threatens to condemn the people of Cyrodiil to endless war.”
Lep Seclusa then sees us defending the Moth Priests of the eponymous sanctuary against Orpheon the Tactician’s assault, as he attempts to claim the Elder Scroll within.
The Elder Scrolls Online’s update 45 then adds the early stages of the new Cyrodiil Champions test PvP campaign. Introducing it in this state allows the development team to “monitor how the server reacts to simplified abilities, with the goal being to collect data and help us plan for the future of Cyrodiil and abilities.”
The starting zones of Betnikh, Stros M’kai, Bleakrock, Bal Foyen, and Khenarthi’s Roost are set to receive a refresh that brings “improvements to their terrain transitions, materials and lighting, and atmosphere,” as noted by developer Zenimax Online Studios.
The position of certain signs and banners should now do a better job at pointing towards various services while the lighting in those areas “has been adjusted to better define important paths and other areas of detail.”
ESO’s update 45 also notably increases the starting movement speed of mounts. The value of Mundus Stone boons should now be more visible, while reminders point you towards when and where you can find them.
That is what we currently know about The Elder Scrolls Online’s update 45 and Fallen Banners DLC release date. More details will likely be shared over the coming weeks.
