The First Descendant steadily launches on Steam and consoles, and with the pre-season beta now in progress, keeping an eye on its server status is a good idea to make the most out of your time with the game.
Whether you’re tackling missions alone or in co-op, the servers going down because of maintenance or other issues can bring your session to a grinding halt, which is never fun.

The servers are going down across all platforms and regions this week on the 18th of July. We expect them to be down for over five hours.
The First Descendant’s most recent maintenance was completed ahead of schedule without any downtime, but it will be down for an extended period with this latest schedule maintenance.
We’ll update you when the maintenance begins and ends, and provide more details in the Hotfix 1.0.3 announcement.
This hopefully improves server performance during the pre-season open beta, making for a smoother experience for everyone who decides to hop in.
