Scientists have deciphered the mysteries of merging organic matter with machinery, allowing human life to transcend the biological constraints of minds and bodies. This breakthrough heralds the onset of The Machine Age.
Stellaris: The Machine Age Season 8 Updates
The Machine Age can be acquired either as a separate purchase or bundled with the new Season 8 Pass. Additionally, if you’re subscribed to the Stellaris Expansion subscription, you can access it at no additional cost.
The Season 8 Pass will feature three forthcoming expansions: The Machine Age, the Cosmic Storms (Q3 2024) mechanical expansion, and The Grand Archive story pack (Q4 2024), along with an exclusive species portrait of Rick The Cube. Pre-orders are now open and will cost you £34.99 / €39.99.
The Expansion introduces a new Endgame Crisis for players to face: a formidable synthetic borg-like race. Additionally, players can choose to play as this threat via a new Crisis Path.
“Your machine empires are no longer limited to gestalt consciousness and can have individual personalities and more diverse stories and origins.” said Paradox.
You can find Stellaris: The Machine Age on Steam when it launches next month, on the 7th May.
