Sony could be planning to host its next PlayStation State of Play in September, according to Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb, and we may see the much-rumored PlayStation 5 Pro mid-generation console hardware update.
“There is probably going to be a PlayStation State of Play, not a Showcase, at the end of September,” said Grubb on his Game Mess Mornings Podcast.
Jeff Grubb and Emma Fyffe discuss the PlayStation 5 Pro and claim that it was an “open secret” at Gamescom and that they expect it to be revealed in September, noting that it has a 45% performance improvement over the PS5.
“It’s probably going to be late next month, in September.”
Silent Hill 2 Remake, Unknown 9: Awakening, Sonic x Shadow Generations, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Lego Horizon Adventures, Little Devil Inside, Light No Fire, and more could make an appearance alongside any new hardware announcements.
We will keep you posted if and when Sony announces the next PlayStation of Play.
