The Quarry has a hefty dose of summertime spooks in store for us and if you plan on playing through its story in co-op, you’re likely wondering if crossplay will be one of its launch features.
Cross-platform support would facilitate easily hopping into The Quarry’s online mode regardless of which version of the game you and your friends pick up. As one of the year’s high-profile, multiplatform titles, let’s see how things look at the moment.
Unfortunately, it looks like The Quarry might not receive crossplay support at launch. The feature was not mentioned at all during its announcement, which focused on its nine main characters and the weight of the choices that players will inevitably have to make.
The game’s official website also notes that multiplayer only extends “across the same PlayStation or Xbox generation only,” which gives us yet another reason to believe that The Quarry will not be getting cross-platorm support.
- The Quarry crossplay status: Unconfirmed, likely unavailable at launch.
Of course, things can change both in the lead-up to launch and following the game’s release. We’ll stay vigilant and update this article as soon as we learn new details about crossplay potentially coming to The Quarry.
