THQ Nordic has by now attained a considerable presence in the gaming arena, ever since its rebranding in 2016. Just last year, in particular, has introduced the company to substantial growth, and they've now revealed the number of ongoing projects they are working on.
According to its interim financial report, THQ Nordic has 77 games in development, 48 of which have not yet been announced at all. "We look forward to our most exciting year ever," said Lars Wingefors, CEO.
According to reports, THQ Nordic has seen a dramatic 713% increase in net sales, with the figures being as substantial as they are primarily thanks to their acquisition of Deep Silver. Darksiders 3, in particular, has been denoted as one of the company's flagship releases of 2018.
On the subject od unannounced projects, Wingefors said that "48 of these (games) are still in the pipeline waiting to be announced, including a few that are scheduled for release in 2019." A truly impressive number of games, to be sure. One can only hope they won't be released as timed exclusives...
THQ Nordic intend to continue with their acquisitions and development, since they're clearly doing something well. For proof, look no further than this morning's Kingdom Come: Deliverance dev acquisition.
