Tokyo Xtreme Racer PC version entered Steam Early Access in January 2025, where it plans to stay for “approximately 4 months.” With such a short window until release, barring any unexpected delays, it’s only natural to wonder about a potential console version coming further down the line.
Tokyo Xtreme Racer PS5 and Xbox Series X/S Release
Tokyo Xtreme Racer did not release on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S when it first entered early access on PC, rendering owners of both consoles unable to play it without switching platforms.

Furthermore, developer Genki hasn’t explicitly stated that console versions are currently in the works. This makes it likely that we’ll have to wait a fair bit before channeling our inner speed demons on Tokyo’s streets on anything other than a PC.
That, of course, doesn’t completely rule out the possibility of the racing game coming to current-gen consoles at some point in the future. It’s just difficult to even speculate whether or when that might happen without hearing official word from the devs.
