Mosaic Mask Studio has announced that it’s planning to take its Turn-based Dark Fantasy Strategy game Shields of Loyalty out of early access by April 2025.
The beta branch recently received an update that added several new spells. The team is in the final phase of testing its third island and faction. We should see more on this and a major announcement at the end of January - hopefully, a set release date for the full launch.

Shields of Loyalty is a turn-based dark fantasy strategy game. It is set in a thematic 2D world inspired by a legacy of genre classics, enriched with great features and modern gameplay. Experience challenging TBS action with high replayability value on the island world of Mantaria as you lead your army victoriously from battle to battle!
Command one of several avatars with unique skills and auras. Train your units up to two times on the path to becoming stronger and more powerful soldiers. Lead and manage troops through challenging missions while collecting artifacts to strengthen your forces. Discover specialized unit abilities and activate them wisely in the fight against the unholy brood.
Utilize each avatar and hero’s distinct auras to gain the upper hand in battle. Free “heroes of the old wars” and use their power and auras to your advantage! Form strategically advantageous formations across the terrain to master challenges and overcome obstacles. Gather units into larger squads to fight against powerful enemies and withstand the onslaught of evil.
Face the undead army across several dynamic areas. Begin by infiltrating in the Darkwoods, a biome covered by forests, swamps, and rocky landscapes. Once you’ve succeeded, push forth into the Eternal Ice and brave a snowy tundra full of lethal traps. Finally, invade the hostile Lava Desert with danger and deadly enemies at every turn.
Shields of Loyalty is available exclusively for the PC and is expected to launch fully by April 2025.
