As some of you may well know, Two Point Hospital was set to launch with Denuvo Anti-Tamper DRM, but what happened then was that a unique combination of events led to the situation where Denuvo was rendered useless upon launch.
Of course, developers had to react quickly, and so, they've decided to get rid of Denuvo by replacing it with Steam's proprietary DRM solution. Taking into consideration the stance that the general public holds against Denuvo, not many will be saddened by this development.
The update which brings this change is currently in beta, and is slated to go live sometime before the end of the week. Aside from ditching Denuvo Anti-Tamper tech, it also fixes a number of crashes and load failures, as well as getting rid of a number of instances of possible save corruption.
What this means in practical terms is that, if some of your savegames got corrupted and wouldn't load, the issue might now be resolved! Of course, this is all just cherry on top of an already impressive cake, as our reviewer pointed out already.
