Publisher Ubisoft today detailed the new features coming to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey this February.
Leading the list is the addition of a New Game+ mode. Players who’ve completed the main story arc in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be met with a new option in the menu which allows them to start New Game+ using their save. All upgrades, abilities and gear will carry through, however the choices made will reset and players will have the chance of switching protagonists.
The sixth episode of The Lost Tales of Greece is already live. Titled A Brother’s Seduction, it revolves around brotherly rivalry that’s bound to stir up some family drama. Players can access the episode by starting the quest Prodigal Son’s Return.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will have its level cap increased to 99, while also receiving 22 new fast travel points. The Mercenary Ladder will grow by two tiers, while ten new Photo Mode frames will be added as well.
In terms of accessibility options, players will be able to alter the background behind dialogue to semitransparent black and change the size of subtitles. The Wild Boar and Deep Sea Hunter Packs round off the item offering, Each of them includes new gear, one mount and a legendary weapon.
If you find yourself using Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s Photo Mode often, the third round of the Photo Mode Contest begins on February 21. Themed around winter in Greece, it gives players one week to submit pictures in order to win a Spartan Collector’s Edition of the latest entry in the series.
