As Warcraft Rumble’s planned November launch approaches, a crossover event has now kicked off in World of Warcraft, introducing a set of collectible miniatures, achievements, and more.
During the Warcraft Rumble Crossover WoW event, a series of Warcraft Rumble Machines will manifest in the prominent Dragonflight regions of Thaldraszus, The Azure Span, The Waking Shores, and Ohn’ahran Plains. Additionally, these machines will be present in the capital cities of Orgrimmar, Stormwind, and Valdrakken.
Warcraft Rumble Crossover WoW Event
An in-game mail points us in the right direction to participate in Warcraft Rumble’s Crossover WoW event, which involves finding Mizzen, the Warcraft Rumble quest giver.
Characters who have only reached level 60 and under will then have to head to Orgrimmar or Stormwind, while everyone above level 60 will be directed to visit Valdrakken.
The event introduces seven collectible miniatures, each one costing one Rumble Coin. The currency’s locations are hidden across different parts of the Dragon Isles, Orgrimmar, Stormwind, and Valdrakken, asking us to put on our explorer hats.
Finding Warcraft Rumble Coin locations and plundering them allows us to drop the currency in a Warcraft Rumble Machine, which rewards us with a Warcraft Rumble Miniature that is then added to our in-game toy collection.
One cool aspect of Warcraft Rumble’s Crossover WoW event is that, although they’re not tradable, we cannot get duplicates of miniatures we already own.
Each of the seven minis can also be customized with two additional appearances using Rumble Foil. Fourteen Foils are also hidden throughout the participating zones and capital cities mentioned above.
Live as of October 3, Warcraft Rumble’s Crossover WoW event also introduces a set of achievements, detailed in its dedicated article over on the game’s official website.
The event is a welcome break from raiding, PvP, and Mythic+ dungeons that, aside from growing our toy collection, also keeps World of Warcraft interesting during what’s already been a fairly eventful year content-wise.
Warcraft Rumble is slated to launch on Android and iOS devices on November 3.
