Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun gives us a hefty dose of retro-infused Space Marine action. Boasting visuals ripped straight from the first-person shooters of old, its May release might have you wondering whether or not we might see it on Xbox Game Pass or its PC counterpart in 2023.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun launching on PC Game Pass would allow subscribers to play the game without opting for a full purchase. It would also be a great way to introduce outsiders to boomer shooters, which have gradually become a subgenre of their own as of late.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun Xbox Game Pass
Sadly, no signs currently point towards Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun making its way to Xbox Game Pass or its PC counterpart at launch.
The game’s pre-launch marketing campaign featured no mention of the cloud gaming service. By the looks of it, we’ll have to go with a traditional purchase to play the game as soon as it becomes available.

That being said, things could still change in the lead-up to release. If that doesn’t happen, we could still see the first-person shooter arriving on Microsoft’s popular subscription service at a later point in time.
Its library gets refreshed regularly. As old titles leave, new ones get added, and Boltgun could still become one of the latter.
It’s hard to say if or when that might happen, but we’ll be on the lookout and update this article as soon as we learn anything new.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun is slated to release on May 23, 2023, heading to PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
