Braving the horrors that await throughout the Koronus Expanse is now a little bit easier, thanks to Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader’s update 1.0.1, which is now available for all owners of the game. Its patch notes reveal the promised removal of DLC restrictions when attempting to play in co-op alongside a lengthy list of other improvements.
Rogue Trader’s patch 1.0.1 makes it so that hosts of co-op sessions automatically share their purchased DLCs with the other players who join. This essentially means that everyone’s DLC sets no longer need to match in order to adventure together, removing a notable pain point.

Several instances in which the game could freeze while exploring planets alongside a black screen that could occur during Chapter V were also fixed. In addition, the camera rotation and movement speed should no longer frustratingly reset to 0.
Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader’s patch 1.0.1 also tackles several issues related to desyncs while playing cooperatively, in addition to ensuring that health bars no longer cover character names.
Act III’s Convictions requirements have been adjusted, although exact details weren’t shared. Multiple conditions and reactions have been introduced, in an effort to improve Act IV’s final cutscene, while romances have also received additional polishing.
Several talents that were previously not working as intended have also been confirmed as fixed in Rogue Trader’s 1.0.1 patch notes.
They include the Officer’s Seize the Initiative, which previously caused infinite loops, the Soldier’s Alacrity talent, which didn’t properly calculate the amount of granted Agility, alongside the Astra Militarum Commander’s Unflinching Heroism.
Elsewhere, the hit chances of the Scrappy Lasgun, Lasgun, and Laspistol were corrected, while Cassia’s face should no longer cause great amounts of distress whenever she equips a two-handed weapon.
The fixes introduced in Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader’s 1.0.1 updates stretch much further, tackling issues with localization, sound, and space combat. You can read the full list in the patch notes available on Steam.
