How do you stop Marvel Rivals from getting stuck at 99%?
The Marvel Rivals community has found that installing the game on your SSD or main drive can resolve most issues. If you install it on a secondary drive, or any drive other than the C:/ drive, you might find yourself with the dreaded 99% loading screen bug.
It’s possible to move games from one drive to another from within the settings on Steam. Follow these steps and you should be good to go within a few minutes.
- Open Steam and click on the Steam logo in the upper left corner.
- Navigate to ‘Settings.’
- Select ‘Storage’ from the left-hand menu in the settings window.
- You’ll see a list of installed games; find and select Marvel Rivals, then click the move button located at the bottom right corner to prompt another window.
- In the following pop-up, you can move the game to drive C:/. Note that this process may take a few minutes.
If you participated in the closed alpha or beta test before the full launch, it’s possible that residual files from those versions could be causing conflicts. We recommend uninstalling and then reinstalling the game to see if this resolves the issue.
