Highly sought since it was first datamined, the World of Warcraft Battle for Azeroth bee mount is almost upon us, alongside a number of other bee-themed items.
In order to start the process, you need to find an NPC called Barry the Beekeeper in Stormsong Valley. He will help with locating the new hive in the region and get you started with earning its favor, thus bringing you one step closer to the bee mount and other bee-themed items.
World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth Bee Mount
While both factions can access Stormsong Valley and its new hive, the bee mount can only be earned and used by the Alliance, as was previously revealed.
Luckily, there are other bee-themed items to go for. Hunters from both factions can loot the Glyph of Dire Bees item. In order to get it, you need to look for rays of light, follow them and help whoever (or whatever) waits at the end of the trail.
Three new battle pets will also be available to grab for both factions, as will “unique loot” dropped from the new pesky creatures that will make Stormsong Valley their (seemingly temporary) home. Pictured above, the pets are as follows:
- Papi: Legend has it that these purple butterflies came from a place called Devil’s Island. Drops from Fresh Jelly Deposit in Stormsong Valley.
- Sunsoaked Flitter: The wings of this butterfly start off with no distinct color, but slowly change to yellow as they spend time in the sunlight. Drops from Fresh Jelly Deposit in Stormsong Valley.
- Crimson Skipper: This butterfly is stained red from the blood of its enemies.
Drops from Honey Smasher.
It’s worth keeping in mind that the the bee mount and Stormsong Valley bee-themed items can be obtained “in the next few weeks”, which would very much suggest that they’ll be time-limited items, whenever they’re introduced.
If you’ve been eyeing that bee mount for your Alliance character, it’s probably best to tarry and jump into World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth as soon as possible once it becomes available..
