When World of Warcraft: Classic’s Season of Discovery release date occurs, it will not only introduce new abilities but also alter the MMO’s approach to leveling while giving us a new raid to tackle.

Although it sends us back to exploring Azeroth as it was initially presented to us, the season launches with an initial level cap of 25.
Future phases will gradually raise this level cap, but this approach essentially enables new stages of endgame that require us to think a bit differently about how we build our characters.
This also means that we’ll get to experience different stages of endgame which, during the first phase, includes a 10-player Blackfathom Deeps raid whose new and reimagined bosses, mechanics, and rewards weren’t present in the original version of the game.
More importantly, a set of discoverable rune engravings are also waiting to grant classes new powers. Aside from filling in gaps in the toolset of each class, they should also enable new builds altogether, including tanking Warlocks and Mage healers.
World of Warcraft: Classic’s Season of Discovery release date is a prime opportunity to experience a different version of the original WoW.
As spotted by Wowhead datamining, a series of rune changes has been introduced on the Public Test Realm, primarily targeting the reduction of passive bonus threat gained by Shaman and Warlock tanks.
Hunters see their runes adding a bit less damage, while the Paladin’s Divine Sacrifice rune cannot be used while under the effects of Blessing of Protection, Divine Shield, or Divine Protection. As is the case with all PTR changes, they may suffer further modifications before arriving on live servers.
That is what you need to know about World of Warcraft Classic’s Season of Discovery, its release date, alongside what content we can expect from it.
