World of Warships is the somewhat historical naval combat game from Wargaming. It is a free to play shooter where you need to keep yourself ship shape against the might of 12 opposing players, all while working with your 11 fleet mates to fight your own way to victory. Today saw the announcement of Wargaming’s new partnership with Games Workshop.
This June, Imperium and Chaos forces are set to invade the not so tranquil waters of World of Warships and its console spinoff, World of Warships: Legends.
World of Warships: Warhammer
Warhammer-themed ships, commanders, camouflages, and more will become available next month and Wargaming is “very excited to collaborate with such an iconic brand that gathers an incredibly passionate audience, some of them coming from our own ranks.”
The Imperium forces will be represented by Justinian Lyons XIII, while Chaos will be served by Arthas Roqthar the Cold. There is a Pre-Sale available from May 27th and players who purchase this pack will get a special mission bonus that can earn them 40k containers dropping the themed ships, commanders, and camouflages.
The content will be made available to buy in full later in June, but if you want to get into the game before then, you can check it out on Steam for free.
