Catchweight Studio and Team17 are launching their World War I Resident Evil-inspired game, Conscript, on 23rd July for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
Conscript is a survival horror game set during the First World War in 1916. It draws inspiration from classic titles like the early Resident Evil series but features a top-down perspective. The classic inventory system is present, along with the skin-crawling fear of not knowing what lurks around the next corner.
Players must face the treacherous trenches of Verdun as a lone French soldier searching for his brother, who is missing in action.
When is Conscript going to be released and is there a demo?
Conscript will be released on the 23rd July as a singleplayer experience across all platforms, and a demo is available to try now until the 17th June.
PC players can enjoy a new Steam Next Fest playable demo, available until 17 June. This new demo includes the opening of the game, a new soundtrack, local language support and a variety of other improvements. Pre-orders are now available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC. Nintendo Switch pre-orders will be available from 25 June.
