We at GameWatcher certainly enjoyed our time spent terrorizing (or possibly allying with) the townsfolk of Tyranny, as expressed in our review last year, but the treachery isn’t over. Bastard’s Wound is an additional adventure that sees us adventuring to a new corner of the Tiers. Far off in a secluded land is an illegal settlement of refugees who had fled the war and the evil Overlord Kyros’ grip. As the Fatebinder and hand of Kyros’ judgement, will you condemn this land’s inhabitants or stealthily engage in a new game subterfuge and politics?
Bastard’s Wound offers a lengthy new quest set somewhere in the second act of the overall journey through Tyranny’s original campaign. You will take on new challenges, face new and interesting situations, explore unique lands, and engage in all new missions dedicated to certain companions you’ve made along the way. If you can succeed, you will gain your followers’ trust in ways unattainable before. Alongside this comes a free update to the base game of Tyranny, featuring new voiced dialogue, expanded options in the game’s last section, and a new ending.
