It's here at long last, the Destiny 2 PC Open Beta. It went live for pre-order customers yesterday, now at last us regular honest folk will get a taste. Today at 21:00 UK time/13:00 PT/16:00 ET on our Twitch channel we'll be playing the Destiny 2 Open Beta, unless we get ridiculous error messages like "Saxophone" or whatever. Join us, why don't you?

Here's everything we know about Destiny 2 on PC!
Destiny 2 is the sequel to Destiny, of course, the console-only multiplayer shooter from Halo creators Bungie that for some inexplicable reason we didn't get on PC. At last Bungie are readdressing the balance and giving Destiny 2 to PC owners... a month late. We didn't even get the beta at the same time, that's a month late too. Sigh. Regardless, this is still Bungie's first PC title since Oni, so be nice. We'll certainly try to.
The online shooter has certainly made a lot of waves in console land, with several developers ripping off the gameplay such as Ubisoft with The Division and Bioware with Anthem. Activision are clearly hoping the PC will embrace Destiny the same as consoles, although giving us the first game might have been a better first step than charging £59.99 for a standard UK pre-order. I guess we'll see how the game plays tonight, since that's the most important thing.
