Majesco's indie label Midnight City announces new indie releases
Publisher Majesco Entertainment has just named some new indie titles for PC, Xbox Live and PSN being distributed under their new Midnight City label, specifically founded to handle indie projects. Krautscape, Double Dragon: Neon and Slender: The Arrival are part of their latest batch of games. They're all coming to PC via Steam, except Slender who already released.
Sony highlights week of 10th September PS3 releases
Sony has announced their lineup of games for the week of the 10th September, which will include Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and NHL 13 in retail, and the digital release of Battlefield 3 Premium Edition, which comes bundled with a Battlefield Premium account for only $59.99 USD. Considering the Premium comes with all 5 downloadable content packs for free, it's quite a deal; the Premium Edition bundle will be coming to PC and Xbox 360 as well.
Major Nelson reveals the upcoming Marketplace content for next two weeks
Major Nelson has announced the upcoming Xbox Live Marketplace content coming to the service in the next two weeks. The content is highlighted by the Minecraft-like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim expansion Hearthfire today, while Armored Kill is coming to Battlefield Premium members next week, while the 4th Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 DLC pack, Final Assault, arrives this week.
Double Dragon: Neon announced for XBLA, PSN this July
Shantae and Contra 4 developer Wayforward will be working with publisher Majesco to bring a new Double Dragon game to Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. The next entry into the long-running beat'em up side scroller will be called Double Dragon: Neon, and will be released this coming July 2012.
