3.1 expansion now available for Hegemony III: Clash of the Ancients
Developer Longbow Games has announced that the 3.1 update for its grand strategy game Hegemony III: Clash of the Ancients is now available for download. The update is large enough that the studio is calling it an expansion, rather than a simple content update. It includes updated gameplay mechanics for combat, scouting, rebellion, colonization and diplomacy, as well as buffing the AI. The update also includes an upgrade to the map editor.

Longbow Games has announced the release date for Hegemony 3: Clash of the Ancients, the next installment in its grand strategy series. It drops on August 25, 2015 across various digital retailers. Clash of the Ancients takes place during the earliest years of the Roman Empire, as various Greek, Gallic, Roman and other Mediterranean factions battle for control over the Italian mainland.
Longbow Games starts Twitch channel, Hegemony III live stream tonight @ 8pm GMT
The first demo for the newly announced Hegemony III from Longbow Games is due as the studio christen their Twitch.tv channel tonight with a live stream for the RTS, which is on Kickstarter. The studio will host a developer Q&A for the latest in the Hegemony series, which will air today @ 3pm EST / 8pm GMT. Clash of the Ancients explores the "tumultuous period" of Rome's birth.
Longbow Games sets up Kickstarter campaign for Hegemony 3: Clash of the Ancients
Hegemony creator Longbow Games has taken to Kickstarter to try and fund the next game in its strategy series, Hegemony 3: Clash of the Ancients. Unlike previous entry Hegemony Rome: Rise of Caesar, this title won't show off the Roman Empire at its most powerful, but rather the tumultuous period that led to its creation.
