Hitman: Contracts Latest Updates
Early Access "simply not the approach we're taking" with Hitman, assures IO Interactive
The episodic-style release for Hitman beginning this December isn't some Early Access program, reads a new FAQ from Square Enix and developer IO Interactive. That would suggest it's "something unfinished or unpolished". Whatever they release episodically will be 'complete and polished' every time, from major new locations and missions to smaller live events with one-time assassinations. Also it's 'less episodic and more of a stream'.
Hitman Collection is 80% off on Steam for 24 more hours, includes six total games in the series
Hiring an assassin has never been as cheap right now as the Hitman Collection on Steam is a whopping 80% off for all five of the series' major instalments which includes the most recent Hitman: Absolution and all its DLC. The first three games are just 99p right now, and the Collection includes the spin-off Hitman: Sniper Challenge where as Agent 47 we snipe targets from afar and try and get the highest scores possible.
Jesper Kyd "would love to work with BioWare again"
Composer Jesper Kyd who has produced quite the resume in terms of scores for video games judges what projects he'll work on if it grants opportunity to "create something original, not who's developing it." Having said that though he'd "love to work with BioWare" once again, having partnered with them for MDK2. Kyd also said he was "humbled" by the "overwhelming reception" to his Assassin's Creed II score.
PS3 trophies leak for Hitman HD Collection
Square Enix is yet to officially confirm the existence of the Hitman HD Collection for PlayStation 3, despite retailers listing it and now the alleged trophies to unlock have been exposed. The HD bundle includes Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Contracts and Blood Money. Zavvi has it scheduled for December 15th, while GAME says 2013. All three separate titles get trophies.
Hitman: Absolution details emerge, Hollywood talent roped in
Developer IO Interactive is going all out with the latest Hitman title, which includes experienced actors lending their talents to bring Absolution alive. Actor Keith Carradine plays the role of Agent 47's arch enemy in Absolution, with Marsha Thomason voicing Diana, the bald guy's "only true human contact."
