Can you play Assassin’s Creed Shadows on Xbox Game Pass? Ubisoft is due to release Assassin’s Creed Shadows on PC and Xbox Series X/S on March 20, and players are now wondering if they can step into feudal Japan using an Xbox Game Pass subscription on release.
At the beginning of each month, Microsoft announces the list of games you can redeem from the service and keep as long as your Xbox Game Pass subscription remains. We are usually told on the 7th of each month which games will be added and removed across all platforms. Ubisoft has a number of games on the digital service, including Asssassin’s Creed Odyssey, Origins, and Valhalla.
When will Assassin’s Creed Shadows be available on Xbox Game Pass?
The list of games for March has been revealed, and unfortunately, Assassin’s Creed Shadows wasn’t included. Microsoft and Ubisoft appear to have no plans to release it on Xbox Game Pass in the near future. Subscribers will likely be disappointed at its absence, but we expect it to follow other games in the franchise and appear on the service later in the year.
If we see Assassin’s Creed Shadows listed on future updates about Xbox Game Pass games, we will come back and update you to let you know that it’s arrived.
Check back later this month for our full review of Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
