Hogwarts Legacy is finally here, giving us the chance to immerse ourselves in the life of a magic student set loose across a chunk of the Wizarding World. If you’re looking to start the year with a few extra cosmetic options, you’ll want to learn about linking your Warner Bros. account to the Harry Potter fan club.
Long-time fans of the Wizarding World are likely already involved in the Harry Potter fan club, but the option is very much available to players who might just now be discovering this vast universe.
Hogwarts Legacy Linking Your Account to the Wizarding World
If you choose to link your Warner Bros. account to the Wizarding World website, which hosts the Harry Potter fan club, you will be eligible to receive the Beaked Skull Mask and House Fan-atic School Robe cosmetic items to use in-game. The latter comes in four versions, one for each House.
In addition, the House associated with your account will come up as the default choice in Hogwarts Legacy, but you can freely swap it if you’d rather start out as a member of another.
Here are the steps required to link your Hogwarts Legacy account to the Wizarding World, as described on the Portkey Games support site:
- Go to WizardingWorld.com/legacyconnect (*note: the WizardingWorld.com site is accessible in English only).
- Select the [Log In] button to sign in with your Harry Potter Fan Club profile, or click here to create a profile.
- Select the [Get Sorted Now] button and complete the Sorting Ceremony Quiz. Select the [Let's Go!] button at the bottom of the page to return to the Hogwarts Legacy account linking page.
- Select the [Discover Your Wand] button and complete the Wand Ceremony Quiz. Select the [Let's Go!] button at the bottom of the page to return to the Hogwarts Legacy account linking page.
- Select the [Go to WB Games] button and when the next window appears, choose to either Create a WB Games account or sign in to your existing WB Games Account.
- Under this Connection page for the WB Games Account site, link the console or PC platform where you plan to play Hogwarts Legacy. This will streamline the experience when you launch the game for the first time.
- Return to the Wizarding World site and select the [Refresh] button to obtain an exclusive wallpaper download.
- Launch Hogwarts Legacy and after the introduction sequence, check the cosmetic options for the appearance of your Hogwarts student. You will also have seen a prompt just after the title screen informing you of what cosmetic rewards you obtained.
You can also grow your cosmetic items collection even further through Hogwarts Legacy Twitch Drops, which went live with the game’s pre-order early access period.
