The Resident Evil 4 Remake offers players the chance to undertake a variety of sidequests, including tasks that involve helping the beloved Merchant either collect or destroy various items. One such mission, called Egg Hunt, requires players to locate the elusive Golden Chicken Egg and bring it back to the Merchant.
RE4 Remake’s Golden Chicken Egg Location can be reached during chapter 4, as you’ll need to use the speed boat in order to reach the location. You won’t find it on the critical path either; it’s hidden away in an area that you’re unlikely to consider visiting unless your inner explorer is keen on scouring every inch of the map.
Resident Evil 4 Remake Golden Chicken Egg Location
Resident Evil 4 Remake’s golden chicken egg location waits on a small chunk of land on the eastern side of the lake, provided your map is angled to have the Boat House to the south.
You’ll naturally need your boat to reach it and the main quest won’t send you there. Once you dock, you’ll notice several chickens casually walking around.
On the ground, you’ll find several eggs you can pick up, including RE4 Remake’s golden chicken egg. Its location will be obvious thanks to both the tooltip describing it and its gold color.
Returning it to the Merchant completes the Egg Hunt side quest, rewarding you with 3 spinels. You can trade them at the merchant in exchange for a variety of different goodies.
That is where you need to head in order to find Resident Evil 4 Remake’s golden chicken egg location. For more on the survival horror game, check out some of its best mods and the PC specs you’ll need to run it.
