World of Warcraft: Dragonflight’s post-launch journey through the Dragon Isles continues and, as we head into what’s likely the midway point of the expansion, chances are you may be wondering about patch 10.1.5’s release date and the content Fractures in Time introduces as part of the game’s broader roadmap.
WoW’s Fractures in Time patch 10.1.5 release date is set to occur as we progress through Season 2, bringing one particularly noteworthy addition for PvE enthusiasts alongside a handful of smaller ones to spice things up for good measure.
World of Warcraft Patch 10.1.5 Release Date
Blizzard has now confirmed that World of Warcraft patch 10.1.5’s release date is slated to occur on July 11, 2023 (US)/July 12, 2023 (EU). The patch became available on the PTR in the first half of May, when its name was revealed as Fractures in Time.

The update is set to introduce the new Dawn of the Infinite megadungeon that should keep PvE-focused players busy for quite a bit.
More expansive than its regular counterparts, Dawn of the Infinite features eight bosses, including Iridikron, taking us across the timeways to stop the Infinite Dragonflight from successfully transforming Nozdormu into Murozond.
A dedicated article showcases all of them, while also revealing that an optional questline revolving around the dungeon can be started at the Seat of the Aspects in Valdrakken.
Future patches could also split the megadungeon into two regular dungeon-sized chunks, to facilitate its inclusion into the Mythic+ rotation, although we’ll have to wait and see if that actually happens.
The Evoker Class introduced at the start of Dragonflight is getting a third specialization, called Augmentation, when the Fractures in Time update goes live.
This specialization lets us play the Evoker as a damage dealer (DPS) with a fresh support-style twist. Its playstyle revolves around empowering allies with a variety of beneficial effects.
Some are cast directly on allies, others are tied to using damage-dealing abilities effectively.
“Augmentation Evokers deliver their damage in a wholly unique way,” the developer explains. “They act as force multipliers, increasing their group’s capabilities (and damage output) significantly.”
WoW: Dragonflights’ patch 10.1.5 is also set to add a new type of public event called Time Rifts, which task players with defeating waves of enemies.
New repeatable content will also be available in Eon’s Fringe as we “work to settle the timeways and solve the problems brought about by their instability while reaping the rewards of a job well done.”
World of Warcraft’s Fractures in Time update also introduces a new questline starting with the Eggs in Abundance alongside activities centered around Whelp Daycare, during which we’ll help the Little Scales Daycare look after five dragon whelps.
Blizzard has also confirmed that completing daily quests at the daycare earns Flightstones, gold, and more.
Their non-daily quest counterparts, available for each whelp, award two pets (one battle pet and one non-battle companion pet).
Night Elves, Draenei, Lightforged Draenei, Pandaren, Kul Tiran, Tauren, Highmountain Tauren, Mag’har Orcs, and Zandalari Trolls will also get access to the Warlock class.
The class itself can also unlock a new imp pet customization via a new quest called Beginning Impositions.
Blizzard has also confirmed that WoW’s Fractures in Time update will also bring balance changes to mages, rogues, holy paladins, and other classes. You can dive into the nitty gritty in the patch notes over on the forums.
In addition, the Kalimdor Cup event brings 16 races to take part in between August 15 and 28. They come in normal, advanced, and reverse variations, rewarding Riders of Azeroth badges, which you can exchange for various goodies at Maztha.
Cross-realm trading restrictions are also getting lifted, enabling us to trade items and gold directly to characters on other realms in the same region.
With World of Warcraft’s patch 10.1.5 release date covered, here is a refresher on what update 10.1 introduced.
