Developer Rockstar Games is celebrating the launch of The Ballad of Gay Tony, the latest DLC episode for GTA IV, by declaring this weekend free of Xbox Live multiplayer charges.
This covers GTA IV, The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony. Also there’ll be ”special guests from Rockstar” online playing, with Henry Santos Jeter from ”megaband” Aventura.
”From Friday, October 30 through Sunday, November 1 we invite members of the online community to experience multiplayer in Liberty City like never before with special guests from Rockstar North and singer/composer Henry Santos Jeter from the chart-topping megaband, Aventura,” announce Rockstar.
”To commemorate the launch and ensure every fan can participate in these exclusive events, Xbox LIVE multiplayer will be FREE ALL WEEKEND for people playing Grand Theft Auto IV, The Lost and Damned, and The Ballad of Gay Tony.”
Rockstar devs will be playing themselves like crazy this Friday, with Saturday open for the Xbox Live community to blow itself apart. Sunday holds the ”Game with Fame” session featuring Aventura’s Henry Santos Jeter.
