Rift is sub-based and allows us to build our own classes using the Ascended Soul System. It’ll cost $14.99 a month and Trion have differing retail editions.
Player choose to play as a Guardian or a Deviant but the actual class we become is defined by our choices through the game’s Ascended Soul System. There’s the Standard, Digital Collector’s and Retail Collector’s Editions for $49.99, $59.99 and $79.99 respectively.
A complimentary month is included for pre-orders, one of three exclusive in-game pets, closed-beta access, a head-start date of February 24th and more. Choosing a subscription plan before March 15th knocks the standard charge to $9.99 from $14.99.
