City Interactive has announced the release dates for two of its upcoming games. Combat Wings: The Great Battles of World War II will be arriving in North America on the 7th February, 2012 and Europe a few days later on February 10th, while Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 will be hitting Europe on the 16th March, 2012 with the North American release following on the 20th March.
Combat Wings: The Great Battles of World War II is a dynamic and fast-paced dog fighting title set during World War II. As one might expect, the sim draws from key battles in aviation history, and allows players to engage the enemy in a number of authentically-reproduced aircraft. The game recreates key battles in history over London and mainland Europe. The PS3 version will feature Move compatibility.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 will put the player back in the role of the titular sniper, as the game will be using the CryEngine 3 game engine, while the player picks their way through the war zone locations with access to weapons with differing ranges, thermal vision as well as advanced spotter cooperation with the player’s colleagues.
Both titles are hitting the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms.
