D3 has announced a new racing title based on the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series event, Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad, which is being released on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade this summer.
“I’m a huge fan of gaming and always have been, and being able to represent my transition from Supercross to short-course off road racing in a game is an awesome opportunity,” said spokesman and racing pro Jeremy McGrath. “Having seen the work that 2XL Games has done with racing games in the past with Rainbow Studios and more, they are the perfect team to work with to create a fast-paced, intense racing experience that fans will want to get their hands on.”
The game involves dirt track racing with four-wheeled 800 horsepower off road race trucks on a host of tracks, with single-player and multiplayer modes as well as a wide loadout of vehicle classes including Rally Cars, Pro Buggies, and Trophylite Trucks. D3 is promising the game will feature 1080p, 60 frames per second graphics, multiplayer support for eight racers, and a full campaign mode that follows McGrath’s career.
Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad will be released this Summer.
