Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team came in second, and while it’s expected to have visibility due to the brand name, it was not only overshadowed by Bastion, but it received very mediocre reviews. Deadliest Warrior: Legends came in third, which was released a few weeks ago. It’s still is making a good showing, probably due to positive word of mouth.
Ms. Splosion Man comes in 4th, released two weeks ago, and Pinball FX2 reappears on the chart at fifth, probably due to the new pinball DLC based on Ms. Splosion Man. Years old action game Castle Crashers continues to be one of the strongest XBLA titles, coming in 7th, ahead of Tim Schafer’s mech tower defense game Trenched. Another XBLA powerhouse, Trials HD, remains on the chart at 12th. Toy Soldiers came in 20th, in anticipation of the sequel coming in August as part of Microsoft’s Summer of Arcade.
Perhaps the biggest loser is Section 8: Prejudice, which is a distant 19th, getting beaten out by such games as UNO and Popcap stalwarts Plants Vs. Zombies and Peggle. The other loser is Dead Block, which was just released to terrible reviews, coming in 10th.
