The Steam version will be enjoying a 25% launch discount as well. Xbox 360 gamers who haven’t purchased the XBLA version will be happy to know that Toy Soldiers will be dropped to 800 Microsoft Points as well to match the PC version.
In a related press release, Signal also announced that the DLC for the Xbox Live Arcade sequel Toy Soldiers: Cold War would be released tomorrow on the 25th April. The first DLC, The Evil Empire Pack, will allow gamers to play as the Soviet Union, while the second DLC is the Napalm Pack, where players will find the action moved to the jungles of the Vietnam War.
Each DLC packs will cost 400 Microsoft Points ($5 USD), and feature 3-level mini-campaigns, a new survival level, versus level and minigames as well as new Achievements, decorations, bosses and new toys.
Toy Soldiers was originally released on Xbox Live Arcade back on the 3rd March 2010, while Cold War launched on the 17th August 2011 and earned a rave 9.0/10 score in Strategy Informer’s review.
