Digital Reality has announced that Candygun’s zombie infested tower defense game Dead Block is now available for PC from most digital distributors.
In Dead Block, players fend off a horde of zombies by using various elaborate traps strategically placed throughout their home base. Each of the three characters the gamers control, Boy Scout Mike Bacon, construction worker Jack Foster, and no-nonsense meter maid Foxy Jones, have their own unique “Smart Bomb” attack to clear zombies away. The game supports up to three player co-op with the aforementioned characters.
Despite the game’s humor and 1950’s “Rock Around the Clock” theme, the digital console versions received bad reviews (XBLA version received a 50 Metacritic score while the PSN version had a slightly better 63 Metacritic score.) It’ll remain to be seen whether the PC version improves upon its predecessors.
