2K Sports has announced that the cover of NBA 2K13 will not feature one or even two star players, but three. The three basketball players on the cover includes the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Kevin Durant, the Los Angeles Clippers’ Blake Griffin and the Chicago Bulls’ Derrick Rose. Rose was the league MVP of 2011.
Last year, NBA 2K12 featured three different covers, with Larry Bird, Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson gracing the covers separately.
NBA 2K13 is being developed by Visual Concepts, who has worked on 2K Sports’ titles since 1999, and will be released on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on the 2nd October in North America and the 5th October worldwide.
