2K Games has confirmed that 2K Marin was suffered significant layoffs. The developer worked on The Bureau: XCOM Declassified and assisted Irrational Games with BioShock Infinite.
According to a 2K Games rep, ”We can confirm staff reductions at 2K Marin. While these were difficult decisions, we regularly evaluate our development efforts and have decided to reallocate creative resources. Our goal to create world-class video game titles remains unchanged.”
The Bureau: XCOM Declassified was released in August 2013 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation. Strategy Informer awarded the game a 7.0/10 score in its review.
