Capcom has announced that life is like a hurricane here in Duckburg, as DuckTales Remastered will be landing on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and Wii U this coming Summer 2013. The game is being developed by WayForward.
One of the best platformers for the original NES not named Super Mario will be getting a fresh coat of paint while retaining the same addictive gameplay. Capcom revealed a comparison trailer between the the 1989 NES original and the remake.
DuckTales Remastered also has some new features. According to the official blog, ”We’ll have so much more to show in the months ahead, including the game’s new controls, additional areas, a Duckburg museum to track your progress, remixes of some of the most classic videogame music of all-time, and my personal favorite…”
Capcom also released a new trailer showing off gameplay and featuring the ear worm of a theme song. Check it out in the video below, and feel free to sing along.
