Defiance, the MMO shooter based on the sci-fi TV series, is now available as a free-to-play game on PC. The date comes two weeks before the June 19 Season Two premiere of the game’s crossover television series on the SyFy channel.
Developer Trion announced the change of model last month. New players or returning ones can battle through the entire BayArea storyline, as well as the new ‘Stahma’s Interests’ story missions.
If you decide to buy the full version of Defiance, in boxed or digital form, you’ll be able to grab the following.
• A grant of 1,000 Arkforge, in-gamecurrency redeemable for resetting weapon mastery, upgrading a weapon’spower rating or even bumping an uncommon weapon to epic rarity.
