Darksiders designer Joe Madureira says the action fantasy series ”is not dead”, and that new IP owner Nordic Games is already planning the future of the franchise.
Maureira posted the following on his Facebook page in response to fan questions, ”Darksiders– DS is not dead!!! The new owner, Nordic seems very committed to continuing the series. As far as my involvement, I can’t say at this point. Hopefully we will all have exciting news about the franchise soon!!!!!!”
That’s six exclamation points, which is as much proof as you should ever need. Still no official confirmation that another sequel is in the works, but we’ll keep our eyes out for any response from Nordic, who picked up the rights to Darksiders in the great THQ intellectual property fire-sale of last year.
