Steve Jaros, a ten year veteran of Saints Row developer Volition, has announced via Twitter that he’s moving over to Valve Software.
”The past 10 years at Volition have been life changing. I’ve gotten to work with amazing people and made friends that will last a life time,” the developer wrote.
As creative director Jaros was one of the key minds behind the increasingly deranged Saints Row franchise - he’d recently been promoting the latest entry, the standalone expansion Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell. “I’m super proud of the work we did on Saints Row,” Jaros tweeted, ”and am excited for what Volition does in the future, but it’s time for me to move on.”
No mention of what Jaros will be working on at Valve. Anyone who mentions Half Life 3 will be thrown into a canal. Jaros’s final Volition creation Gat Out Of Hell will be released next January on PC and consoles.
