EA and PopCap Games’ Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will be uprooting the weeds of Xbox exclusivity and planting seeds for a PC release, which are due to sprout June 27th.
Garden Warfare presents the Plants vs. Zombies series for the first time in a multiplayer shooter setting. The PC release will all include all the game’s released content to-date.
There are co-operative and competitive modes where players choose to play as the plants or the zombies with varying match sizes. PopCap announced DLC would be released freely.
“We’ve had an amazing response from players since launching the Xbox platforms, and can’t wait for PC players to join the party this summer,” said producer Brian Lindley. “The PC version has all the great content that we have put out since launch like Garden Variety and Zomboss Down for players to enjoy from the start.”
EA has announced pre-orders have begun with an Origin Digital Deluxe edition including two booster packs, 80,000 in-game coins and an exclusive customisation pack. It’s priced at £34.99.
