A tweet from Deep Silver all but confirms that the ”upcoming project” developer Volition is promising to reveal at PAX Prime this weekend will be a new Saints Row game.
An embedded image shows the familiar Saints logo on what looks very much like a Ouija board. The logo is stamped with a ‘666’. After Saints Row 4’s sci-fi shenanigans, could we be in for a horror-themed entry?
The Volition ‘Quiz Show Hour’ panel kicks off this evening at 6pm BST, so we’ll find out for sure then. Personally I’m hoping Volition do try their hand with horror. That sound like an appropriately mad direction to take the franchise in. After blasting scores of alien warships out of the sky from an anti-air battery on the lawn of the Whitehouse, I’m pretty much game for anything.
If we get to kick the devil in the nuts I’m calling Game of the Year already.
