Call of Duty: Ghosts’ next DLC pack, Devastation, will feature the Predator himself. A new trailer for the upcoming expansion also shows off a new weapon, new maps and a new chapter in the Extinction storyline.
This does at least feel slightly more fitting than the weird Halloween tribute in last DLC pack, Onslaught. There’s no signs that the current trend for movie crossovers is on the wane. Expect a Terminator in the next one. Or Gremlins!
Alongside old beady eyes, the trailer shows off four new maps (Behemoth, Collision, Ruins and Unearthed), a brand new gun, the dual-mode Ripper, which doubles as both an SMG and a longer range assault rifle, and a new chapter of alien-hunting co-op mode Extinction. This time you’re fending off waves off enemies on board a cargo ship, with a guest appearance from a great big bloody Kraken.
Devastation is part of the $49.99 season pass, but you can grab it separately for $14.99. It’s out April 3 on Xbox consoles, with a PC version to follow.
