Anno 2205 developer Ubisoft Blue Byte has scrapped plans for the game’s Beta, which was set to roll out to fans who had pre-ordered the futuristic city-builder.
The company revealed the news in a post on the Ubisoft forums, though they didn’t give a concrete reason for the cancellation. The game’s November 3 release date remains unchanged.
In lieu of the Beta, pre-order customers will receive an as yet unspecified in-game bonus instead, details of which will be released soon.
The sixth game in the long-running series, Anno 2205 allows players to head into space for the very first time, where they can build their very own moon-base. Blue Byte says that levels are ”five times bigger” than in previous games.
