Co-operative first-person shooter Battleborn from Gearbox Software has just received an E3 2015 trailer. It teases the various badasses on offer as we fight to save the universe’s last star.
It’s a shooter with MOBA elements and has a space fantasy setting and a colourful art style a little similar to Borderlands. There are slicing swords, bullet-spewing guns and even powerful spells.
Various races are fighting over the last star in the universe and must defend it against Rendain and his army who seek to destroy it. There’s a single-player Story Mode that also supports co-op and 1-5 players can join and 2 players locally. There are 25 different characters to choose from.
Competitive multiplayer pits two teams of 5 against each other in game modes Incursion, Devastation, and Meltdown. A progression system levels up each individual hero’s Character Rank and the player’s overall Command Rank.
Battleborn releases on PC, Xbox One and PS4 this winter. It’ll be at E3 this month.
