Frozenbyte has announced that its fantasy puzzle prequel Trine 3 will move out of Steam Early Access next week. The game’s been available through Steam since April 21, and will be feature complete and ready to roll on August 20.
”It’s been an amazing few months for our first 3D Trine game,” writes the developer, ”and we’ve learned a lot in this time. On behalf of all of Frozenbyte, I’d like to thank everyone who participated and helped us with your feedback. We’ve come a long way since the start of Early Access, and we’ve been cooking up some neat changes in the past couple of months after the latest update.”
Continuing the fairy tale adventures of Amadeus the Wizard, Pontius the Knight, and Zoya the Thief, Trine 3 adds even more fantastical landscapes, improved multiplayer and new challenge levels.
Once the game is fully released, the price will go up from $19.99/€19.99€ to $21.99/€21.99. A copy of the game’s soundtrack by Ari Pulkkinen will also be added to the package.
