Developer Farhan Qureshi has released an updated version of PuniTy, his Unity engine recreation of Hideo Kojima’s deeply creepy horror P.T. It adds controller support and fixes several lighting issues.
Qureshi says that he plans to eventually add Oculus VR support as well, but he won’t be adding any more game content beyond what’s already included.
”I have no intention of expanding the hallway / gameplay beyond what is already there,” he writes, ”as I have my own game ideas I’m very excited in pursuing. If you’re looking to play the full PT hallway on PC, there’s undoubtedly a group of talented people already working on it and you’ll definitely see it pop up down the road.”
It’s not an exact copy, but you may remember that indie developer Lilith is indeed creating a spiritual successor to P.T. The team kicked off a crowd-funding campaign for horror game Allison Road last month.
