Massive Chalice will be massively launching June 1st with version 1.0, having spent plenty of time in Early Access. The team at Double Fine have spent considerable time on rebalancing the game, particularly for mid to end game.
The launch version will also support controllers for those who enjoy Steam Big Picture gaming. There’s to be a big Teamstream session on launch day, June 1st - ”please do prepare for silliness.”
”It’s been two years since we started on our quest for the MASSIVE CHALICE, and we’re excited to say that our journey is nearly at an end! After many months of designing, building, reading through our early access feedback, and playing the game for hours on end, we’re finally in lockdown,” reads the latest update.
”After listening to lots and lots of useful feedback on the mid to endgame, the team has spent a considerable amount of time rebalancing the game to be more fun, fair, challenging, or punishing, depending on how you look at it. Thanks to everyone who helped us with this fine tuning, we got some invaluable feedback from you guys.”
Massive Chalice releases June 1st, and is available now on Steam Early Access for £22.99.
