Probably due to the fact that footage from the upcoming movie is leaking all over the place, High Moon Studios’ Deadpool game is now available again on Steam. It disappeared in January last year, along with several other Marvel titles from publisher Activision.
Activision never revealed why Deadpool, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, X-Men Origins: Wolverine and the terrible X-Men: Destiny were pulled, but big companies like Marvel are constantly embroiled in issues over copyright and licensing.
And with the Deadpool movie, starring Ryan Reynolds as the fourth-wall breaking mercenary anti-hero, out next February, it’s a sensible time to put the game out for sale. We found it fairly buggy and a little forgettable, but if you’re a huge fan of the character you’ll probably have some fun with it.
Deadpool is available on Steam for £29.99.
