This summer indie publisher Versus Evil will be bringing the post-apocalyptic roguelike RPG Bedlam to PC, from developer Skyshine Games, who has been working with Stoic’s Banner Saga engine.
We’ll lead a ”motley crew of humans, mutants, robots, and cyborgs” across a wasteland fighting off marauders and other terrors as we pilot the last remaining colossal Dozer, the Boneshaker.
”Since going through a pretty amazing Kickstarter experience we’ve been hard at work bringing Bedlam to life and finding the right partner to take the game to all of the players that have supported us along the way,” said art director John Mueller.
“The Banner Saga team at Stoic have given us some great support and advice and having seen the great partnership they enjoyed with Versus Evil it seems the natural choice to work with them on Bedlam.”
We’ll have turn-based combat similar to The Banner Saga, with Bedlam utilising its own unique art style. Bedlam completed its Kickstarter campaign with $166k back in late October. Visit the official Bedlam website for a lot more on the roguelike RPG, which releases this summer.
